Bienvenidos! Welcome to the fourth lesson with me,

In today lesson i’m sharing resource and tips for learning Spanish. Estoy compartiendo recursos y consejos para aprender español. 

In this Lesson, you will learn initial phrases in Spanish.

Here you will learn the names of common objects, body parts and actions. Our key verb for this lesson is “Tener”, which means “to have».

yo tengo (I have)

tú tienes (you have)

él/ella/usted tiene (he/she/you formal/it has)

• I can ask and answer about having or not having things.
• I can name some parts of the body

Common Actions

• Va a – Will
• Escribe – Writes
• Escucha – Listens
• Se sienta – He sits
• Se levanta – He wake up
• Habla – Speaks
• Camina – walk
• Corre – Run
• Mira – Look

Common Objects

• La Escuela – The school
• El Lapiz – The pencil
• El Papel – Paper
• La Silla – The chair
• La mesa – Table
• El libro – The book
• La puerta – The door
• Los crayones – The crayons
• La tijera – Scissors

Body Parts

• Los ojos – The eyes
• La nariz – Nose
• Las orejas – Ears
• La boca – Mouth
• Las manos – Hands
• Los pies – The feet
• El cabello – The hair
• Las piernas – The legs
• Los brazos – The arms

play with your friends “What’s Missing?” Put several objects on a tray or table. Have your friends close their eyes, and remove one object. After, they open their eyes and guess what’s missing. You can say. “¿Qué no está?” to say “What’s not here?”

using these phrases:

¿Tienes…? (Do you have?…)
Sí, tengo./ No, no tengo. (Yes I have (it), No, I don’t have (it)).

Play the game “I Have, Who Has?” 

Pick someone to start. They read the card, saying the name of the picture, and then the question at the bottom. 

It will start with, “¿Quién tiene…?”, which is “Who has…?

If it says “¿Quién tiene el papel?”, for example, the person with the picture of paper will go next. 

Play with your friends to say the parts of the body. You can use the phrase “toca …» to touching objects, and “tócate …» to say «touch your …»

Example: “Maria says: tócate la nariz. 

                  Maria says: toca la mesa. 

                 Maria says: corre.
